Dreamer is a release. An outpouring of frustrated apathy at failing to get a foothold in life, slipping from the rock face and having the scars to show for it. It’s a reflection on time spent in endless pursuit - not seeing the present as something to be held close, walked with hand in hand, and appreciated.

Relentless discontent and repenting the time not spent appreciating how far you’ve come and how far you’ve got to go.

Dreamer is Whitby’s first song in over a year, and represents a bold step to grander production. From humble demos recorded during an artist retreat to the the Isle of Skye, Whitby has worked with new production team to transform it into an epic soundscape that harks back to the mountainous isle.
